It’s official – the 90s are well and truly having their moment! From slogan tees to grungy plaid to double denim, the 90s are back in a big way. And we couldn’t be more thrilled! While not all 90s trends were stylish (hello bandanas!) we’ve managed to snap up the best of the decade and give it a chic millennial upgrade.

The return of the mule has the swiish team especially excited – it’s giving us all Carrie Bradshaw nostalgia!

I love the mule; it’s chic, elegant and so easy to wear. Designers like Victoria Beckham, Jimmy Choo, Cèline and Alexander Wang have given the backless shoe a modern makeover including spiked heels, structural shapes, bright colours and fun embellishments.

With the current midi skirt trend, these shoes give height as well as flatter the bare ankle. Personally, I love wearing with distressed denim for a laidback luxe look. Our only rule? Go for streamline mules to avoid a clunky, clog-reminiscent fashion faux pas!
